Portland: Keeping It Weird

The Hawthorne Bridge Centennial Celebration was very much 'Portland' all the way around in all of it's glory or should I say weirdness! Thought I was going to hear live music and see a multimedia show on the bridge as part of the Bridge Festival ... all of which I did, but not in the way I expected. Why would I expect anything different than what we found, I don't know. It is Portland I'm talking about. Thus, Portland is what you get! Although I'm not sure exactly what they thought, I was happy to have friends join me for the late night 'party' on the bridge. It wasn't your typical marching band to say the least.
